Bringing Magick to Meditation

Introduction

My name is Peter, and I will be your guide to embracing Meditation through Witchcraft.  I have lead people away from their mental suffering through guided meditations at Southlake Regional Hospital on the Pyschiatric Wing.  More recently, I have a Certificate from Dr. Karen E Wells on Udemy for creating Meditations.

I am a self initiated Witch, that involved a deep study for a year and a day.  This typical initiation period gave me the gift of understanding and confidence in practicing Meditation and Pathworking.

Sacred Space

When seeking a place to go to Meditate, consider these suggestions:

Quiet - let other people know you need some quiet time to meditate.  You will be sensitive to sounds and even small interuptions will startle you.

Comfortable - if sitting crossleged isn't comfortable, use a couch or chair.  You don't want to get too comfortable and fall asleep, so laying down with a pillow is not recommended.

Sacred - Keep the space clean, and uncluttered.  As you progress, you will assemble your altar and tools.

First task, select and keep a Meditative Journal - take notes afterwards in point form what you experienced, any symbols.  Give it a title.

The more you use your space, thr more sacred it becomes, the more powerfully it will respond to you.

Your Journal

After any exercise or meditation, put the main points in point form.  When finished, put a title to it.  This will help you to recall and track your advancement.

If you are artistic, maybe you will illustrate the climactic flying dream, or the running through quicksand and you just keep slowing down until - IT - catches you dream.

You can start a dream journal now if you choose, I recommend it.  Keep track of the main points, and go back to bed.  In the morning, give them titles.

If you are having repeating dreams, this could be something significant.
